after spending a week or so with it this is my verdict ...
cons
symbian os is kinda dated rite now and needs some refreshing
the keyboard is not as good as the E71... every time u wanna use a symbol u have to press the shift key which is located far bottom right... damn troublesome
the screen is not as sensitive as my iphone 3G
the apps found in the Nokia Ovi store r priced in euros which makes it far more exp than those found in the Apple app store... n there r very limited apps available ...
the battery life is rubbish
somehow it doesn't like loggin on the wifi, each time I switched it on it goes off by itself when I am browsing the web... making my phone bill f**king high ...
the picts taken with its 5 megapixel camera r mostly over exposed...
the external speakers r pure crap
pros
it's kinda good looking n it attracts quite an amount of attention
the hinge between the keyboard and the phone is pretty solid... n flipping it open is kinda cool too
u can attach any of ur headsets directly to it's 3.5 mm headphone jack...u can also cucuk ur headphone to the mic n controller unit... I can receive, answer calls n listen to radio with my Klipsch earpiece ...
themes and software can easily be found from the net..
32GB of onboard memory is huge ... can be further expanded by memory cards
there isn't much to like about the N97 other than its looks... kinda disapointed with it to be honest ... so pls if ur looking for a smart phone go buy a Blackberry, Iphone or anything that runs on google's android...
